QWIKSAND is on hiatus. The musicians are currently pursuing other musical endeavors and the band wants to thank everyone for the love and support.

Founded nearly 5 years ago by songwriter/guitarist RAS, QWIKSAND became a melting pot of life experience, passion and heart. With songs about drama free good vibes and living life to the fullest, QWIKSAND earned the love and respect of fans with a sound that made you feel alive. Why did fans drive across a state to catch a show? Why did the king and queen of Sweden come to see QWIKSAND perform at the House of Blues in Los Angeles? Ask the band and they would have told you, “we're here to make you feel good... so get up and dance.”

QWIKSAND toured through various US cities, won a 2008 Battle of the Bands for Orange County and was also placed in a surf film and videos. In addition to reviews, press coverage and interviews, QWIKSAND charted on Alternative, AAA, Hot AC commercial and college radio stations in the US, Canada and UK.
