QWIKSAND is on hiatus. The musicians are currently pursuing other musical endeavors and the band wants to sincerely thank everyone for their love and support. Blessings to all who have jammed with us. We look forward to seeing you on the road again soon.

Founded nearly 5 years ago by songwriter/guitarist RAS, QWIKSAND was a melting pot of life experience, passion and heart. With songs about drama free good vibes, chilling with beautiful souls, and living life to the fullest, QWIKSAND earned the love and respect of fans across the country with a sound that made you feel alive. Why did fans drive across a state to catch a show? Why did the king and queen of Sweden come to see QWIKSAND perform at the House of Blues in Los Angeles? Ask the band and they would have told you, “we're here to make you feel good... so get up and dance”

QWIKSAND toured through 50 US cities, won a 2008 Battle of the Bands for Orange County and was placed in international surf films and videos. In addition to national reviews, press coverage, interviews, television appearances, QWIKSAND rose to the top of the charts nationwide on Alternative, AAA, Hot AC commercial and college radio stations with airplay in over 200 cities throughout the US, Canada and UK.
